Theottle, a skilled digital artist has provided a glimpse into the potential future of the Navara through a rendering. Drawing inspiration from the L200/Triton platform, the artist has reimagined the upcoming Navara with subtle yet notable changes.
Retaining much of the existing design, Theottle has breathed new life into the Navara by incorporating elements from the Nissan Interstar, particularly evident in the grille and headlights. Notably, the artist has introduced LED taillights and a redesigned tailgate bearing the Navara insignia, while also refining the wheel design and fenders to infuse a distinct Nissan identity.
Under the surface, the Navara is anticipated to continue its legacy of robust performance with a 2.5-litre four-cylinder turbo diesel engine, boasting impressive figures of 140 kW of power and 450 N.m of torque. This powertrain can be mated to either a six-speed manual or a seven-speed automatic transmission in its current generation.

The allure of the bakkie lies in its versatility, appealing to a wide range of consumers seeking a vehicle capable of both daily urban commuting and off-road adventures. By maintaining its well-rounded nature while integrating fresh design elements, the next-generation Navara could further solidify its position in the fiercely competitive bakkie market.
Expected to arrive in 2025, Theottle’s rendering offers a glimpse into a potential future where the Navara remains a formidable contender, leveraging its unique attributes to stand out amidst a sea of competitors. As automotive design continues to evolve, the success of Navara’s next iteration will hinge on its ability to resonate with consumers while staying true to its heritage of reliability and versatility.
