After somewhat of a delay, Peugout’s flagship 5008 has finally landed in South Africa, although with a slightly different line-up than previously suggested.
The seven-seater 5008 is now available with two different engines and transmission combinations: a 121 kW 1,6-litre four-cylinder THP turbopetrol and a 110 kW 2,0-litre four-cylinder HDi turbodiesel, both available with either a manual or automatic gearbox. The six-speed manual transmission models are specced in the Allure trim level, while the six-speed automatic derivatives receive the GT-Line treatment.
GT-Line models benefit from standard features such as LED headlamps, 19-inch alloy wheels and an upgraded sound system. A panoramic sunroof is optional on this trim only. All models come standard with Peugeot’s five-year/100 000 km service plan.
