According to insider sources cited by Japanese publications, Nissan plans to unveil the final 2025 model year GT-R on March 14. It’s speculated that only 1 500 units will be produced, with around 300 expected to be Nismo models. Details remain scarce whether these will be international of Japanese domestic units. It is unlikely any significant changes will be imparted onto the model, with minor aero tweaks and styling adjustments likely being the most prominent updates.
Should this rumour evolve into fact, it would potentially feature commemorative touches such as special badges or decals to the sports model. Mechanically, the regular variant is expected to retain the same 3.8-liter twin-turbo V6 engine with 415 kW and 632 N.m, while the GT-R Nismo could boast 447 kW and 651 N.m as seen in the 2024 model.
