As we heard last week, there have been some whispers regarding the introduction of a new Porsche three-row SUV. This product will act as a flagship for the German manufacturer’s high-riding range. We now have an idea what this could look like with this speculative render.
Penned by Kolesa, the Porsche three-row SUV has been designed to retain the design theme of the current models with the dynamic but contemporary lines that run across the side to give it a crossover shape. However, a sense of modernity is applied with the implementation of the Taycan’s head- and taillamps.
Furthermore, we see that the Porsche three-row SUV has been given a number of roughed trims such as the front and rear anti-scuff plating, roof rails and side stepping boards but interestingly, the plastic cladding has been left off the wheel arches.
Where size is concerned, the Porsche three-row SUV render doesn’t appear that much bigger than a standard Cayenne but when you pay close attention to the extended rear door you can notice that a bit of length has been added to the wheelbase. The front and rear overhangs remain a bit shorter.
The rumoured Porsche three-row SUV could go into production within the next few years but very little details are available regarding the technical specs. Given the brand’s push towards electrification we can expect that it will be offered with a diverse set of eco-friendly powertrains.
