
The special edition derivatives for the Land Rover Discovery Sport and Range Rover Evoque has been unveiled.
According to Motorpress, the new Discovery Sport Urban Edition is based on the existing R-Dynamic specification and features shadow aluminium finishers, non-leather Luxtec Suedecloth seats and a black contrast roof.
The Urban Edition is available in six exterior colours: Namib Orange, Carpathian Grey, Firenze Red, Santorini Black, Ostuni White and Hakuba Silver.
The Urban Edition also features Land Rover’s latest technology, including a powered tailgate and ClearSight Interior Rear View mirror which may switch between a video feed and mirror, enabling the driver to accurately see what is behind the vehicle.
The Discovery Sport Urban Edition is offered with a choice of two four-cylinder Ingenium powertrains, both mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission.
The D200 turbo-diesel delivers 147 kW with 430 Nm of torque, while the P250 turbo-petrol engine delivers 183 kW with 365 Nm of torque.
The new Range Rover Evoque Bronze Collection Special Edition has a more sophisticated design, luxurious interior and 20-inch five split-spoke alloy wheels.
The new Evoque is available in three exterior colours: Carpathian Grey, Santorini Black and Seoul Pearl Silver. It has a slider Panoramic Roof, Premium LED headlights with signature Daylight Running Lights (DRLs) and directional indicators for visual sophistication.
The Bronze Collection Special Edition is available in D200, P250 and P300e petrol and diesel engines. The P300e Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicle (PHEV) combines a 1.5-litre Ingenium three-cylinder petrol engine with an electric motor.
The Discovery Sport and Evoque are both offered with a standard Land Rover Care Plan which includes, 100 000km warranty and service plan within a 5-year period.
Both models are expected to be introduced to the South African market in the fourth quarter of 2021. Pricing will be announced closer to the time.
