"We want South Africans to take responsibility for safety on our roads, and what better way to get that message across than through educating and empowering our celebrities -“ the ultimate influencers. Of course, we also want to create exciting television, and nothing does that better than throwing a competitive element into the mix. Speed Stars is unscripted, real television, and with our stars completely out of their comfort zones, it makes for a very entertaining programme,"
says Marius Roberts, Producer of Speed Stars.
The celebs will not be the only ones who can win, viewers stand the chance to win amazing prizes from Michelin by staying tuned to the latest episodes.
"This partnership is part of our vision at Michelin to educate all drivers on proper tyre safety. Your tyres are the only contact your car has with the road, therefore it is crucial that they are in proper working condition at all times. Speed Stars is a fun and interesting way to get audiences involved and educated, thus creating better drivers and making our roads safer,”
says Luc Fayolle, Marketing Manager at Michelin South Africa.
