The Recaro x Porsche collaboration extends far beyond the realm of gaming chairs. The Recaro story begins even before its official 1963 founding, intertwined with the Porsche marque. Back then, the Reutter body shop, which would later become RECARO, collaborated with Ferdinand Porsche on various projects, including the bodies and interiors of classics like the Porsche 356.
In 1963, Recaro transitioned from bodywork to becoming a dedicated seat specialist. This marked a new chapter in the Porsche-Recaro story. From the 1960s onwards, Recaro became the exclusive supplier of high-quality seats for various Porsche models. This tradition continues today, with Recaro seats equipping motorsport vehicles and select Porsche models.

The Recaro x Porsche Pepita Gaming Chair isn’t your average chair; it’s a collaboration steeped in history, boasting premium materials, exceptional ergonomics and a design that pays homage to a legendary partnership.
The story of Pepita in the automotive world began in the early 1960s. Porsche unveiled the legendary 911 (initially called the 901) at the Frankfurt IAA. This car not only laid the groundwork for another Porsche icon but also paved the way for one of the most famous seat designs ever. When the 911 entered series production in 1965, Recaro seats with the iconic houndstooth-pattern Pepita fabric were a popular option.
The Recaro x Porsche Pepita Gaming Chair is a meticulously engineered adaptation of the Recaro Exo Platinum, with genuine Porsche Pepita fabric taking centre stage, complemented by sleek black accents. An ergonomically designed seat shell, crafted with high-quality upholstery foam and breathable fabrics, with integrated lumbar support and an anti-submarining seat ramp ensuring a relaxed posture, minimizing back pain and fatigue.
