This dashcam footage from Australia shows a BMW X3 driver turn left out of a traffic circle despite being in the wrong lane … and clattering into a Mazda2 as a result.
The clip shows the camera-equipped vehicle approaching the roundabout, with the road markings indicating those in the left lane are permitted to go straight or left, while those in the right lane can head straight or right (that is, round the circle).
The driver of the white second-generation X3, though, attempts to turn left from the right lane, slamming into the red Mazda2 hatchback that was going straight. Ouch, that ended badly.
