Three years ago, it was reported that Audi had plans to revive the Horch moniker for a special W12-powered Audi A8. Due sometime next year, and spotted testing a number of times under camouflage, we have been given an idea of what this high-end limousine could look like when the covers are finally taken off.
Commissioned by kolesa.ru, the render sources inspiration from some recent spy pictures which captured the elongated saloon testing in the snow. The Russian publication suggests that the upcoming Horch is likely to receive a unique and opulent grille not unlike the Mercedes-Maybach S-Class.
It’s also depicts how the lengthened chassis receives a longer pair of rear doors with partially camouflaged pillars that could portray the Horch logo. At the rear, it is expected that the taillamps will feature different LED elements which could be complemented by a bolder rear bumper design.
Lastly, it is suggested that the Horch will receive a unique set of alloy wheels to round off the distinctively premium look.
All will be revealed when Audi unveils this project in the coming months as the final VAG model to sport the W12 engine.
