Volkswagen has released fresh footage teasing its third-generation Touareg, which will be officially revealed in Beijing in March.
The 54-second clip shows the partially camouflaged SUV testing on various road surfaces in Spain.
Earlier, the Wolfsburg-based automaker released a sketch of its next-generation Touareg, promising that the flagship SUV would boast an “expressive design, innovative technologies and dynamic handling properties”.
VW furthermore said that its new Touareg – which will run on the MLB Evo platform already underpinning the Audi Q7, new Porsche Cayenne, Bentley Bentayga and Lamborghini Urus – will feature “one of the largest digital cockpits in its class”, as well as something the brand calls the “Innovision Cockpit”, a fresh type of infotainment system.
Of course, as long ago as March 2017, we ran a photograph of the new Touareg (alongside the new Polo) snapped at OR Tambo International Airport in Johannesburg…
