Volkswagen has recently launched the highly anticipated Touareg R eHybrid model which makes more power than the Golf R
This offshoot of the firm’s SUV nameplate is outfitted with the most potent drive system available among all standard Volkswagen models. At the heart of the Touareg R eHybrid is a meticulously engineered 3,0-litre, turbocharged six-cylinder engine, which works in tandem with an electric motor. This dynamic duo generates an impressive system output of 340 kW/700 N.m which is 105 kW and 300 N.m more than the current road-going Golf R. Efforts to improve it’s “go-faster’ ability affords it the ability to sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in a mere 5.1 seconds and reach a top speed of 250 km/h, the Touareg R eHybrid broadens the Touareg’s appeal and ushers the badge into a new segment.

Volkswagen has equipped the Touareg R eHybrid with an optimised suspension setup. This advanced suspension system is complemented by a roof load sensor that seamlessly communicates with the suspension electronics, further enhancing the SUV’s stability and handling capabilities.
Volkswagen has left no stone unturned in refining the exterior aesthetics of the Touareg R eHybrid. The design elements include R-specific front bumper inserts, black tailpipes, and glossy black roof rails, all contributing to the SUV’s sporty and sophisticated look. The rear of the vehicle proudly displays an illuminated red VW logo, creating a captivating visual impression.
The interior boasts the redesigned Innovision Cockpit, which now features a 15-inch central touchscreen, offering an intuitive and immersive driving experience. Furthermore, the SUV is equipped with IQ.LIGHT HD matrix headlights, illuminate the road ahead with remarkable clarity and precision.

The blue accents throughout the interior add a touch of sportiness, while the Vienna design leather seats, adorned with Crystal Grey stitching, provide an exquisite and comfortable seating experience. The SUV also offers a panoramic sliding sunroof and a 4-zone air conditioning system, ensuring optimal comfort for all occupants.
To meet individual preferences, Volkswagen provides customisation options for the Touareg R eHybrid. Customers can choose between different alloy wheel sizes, ranging from 21 inches to 22 inches, to further personalise their vehicle. Additionally, the SUV is available in the classic Lapiz Blue metallic R colour, as well as an optional Silicon Grey matt paintwork.
