Volvo Car South Africa is making its premium vehicles more accessible by offering a 15% discount on select new models until the 31st of May 2025.

This promotion includes models like the XC40, C40, XC60, XC90, and the new EX30 and is available at participating dealerships nationwide. Volvo SA says this is a strategic move in response to rising living costs, which are prompting many buyers to re-evaluate their new vehicle budgets. Volvo aims to meet customers halfway without compromising its brand positioning.
The discount also extends to Volvo’s growing electric vehicle (EV) range. The EX30 starts from R9 999 per month through the company’s Guaranteed Future Value (GFV) programme. This finance model secures the trade-in value after a 48-month period, offering buyers the flexibility to upgrade, keep, or return their vehicle. Other EVs, such as the XC40 Recharge and C40 Recharge, are available from R12 674 and R17 158 per month, respectively. These finance packages come with valuable extras, including a GridCars wall box charger with installation (up to R7 500 value), a R12 000 public charging credit valid for two years, and complimentary in-car data from Vodacom for three years.
Volvo ended 2024 as South Africa’s top-selling EV brand, and these new offers demonstrate its commitment to maintaining that success. With EV prices still a significant consideration for many first-time buyers, these incentives could help bridge the gap for those contemplating the switch to electric. To take advantage of this offer, vehicles must be purchased and delivered by the end of May. Please note that the promotion applies only to selected model variants and excludes optional extras or add-ons.
