The all-new BMW M3 and M4 duo were revealed with a bold front bumper design which has been creating quite a stir in the industry. Capitalising on infamy is a Chinese online retailer by the name of Taobao who has listed a custom front apron for the E60 BMW 5 Series.
The single piece bumper is formed with Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene plastic and can be fitted to any E60 derivative. Based on the images the company has supplied, it’s certain to transform this now modern classic sedan into a bit of a head-turner.
Think the G80 front-end is too bold? Taobao has also listed a bumper that takes inspiration from the M2 Competition using the same material.
Excluding shipping and duties, Taobao has the custom bumpers listed for ¥1 800 – 2 500 (approximately R4 000 – R5 600). Do you think that’s a fair asking price?
