The new Audi RS4 Avant employs the Volkswagen Group’s fresh 2,9-litre turbocharged V6, and the tuners over at ABT Sportline have already gone to work on it.
The RS4 has been fitted with the ABT engine control unit, which increases the wagon’s outputs from 331 kW and 600 N.m to 375 kW and 680 N.m. Unfortunately, ABT has not revealed what effect this has on the 0-100 km/h time, but it is sure to be quicker than the Ingolstadt-based automaker’s current 4,1-second claim.
To give the RS4 a meaner look and improve its cornering abilities, ABT has lowered the suspension and installed stabilisers on both axles. Additionally, it offers four different 20-inch alloy wheel designs.
Inside, the tuner has not changed much, bar the addition of an ABT-branded stop-start button.
