Volkswagen has released a fresh sketch of the next-generation Touareg, which is set to be officially unveiled in Beijing in March 2018.
The Wolfsburg-based brand promises that the third generation of its flagship SUV will boast an “expressive design, innovative technologies and dynamic handling properties”.
VW furthermore says that its new Touareg – which will run on the MLB Evo platform already underpinning the Audi Q7, new Porsche Cayenne, Bentley Bentayga and Lamborghini Urus – will feature “one of the largest digital cockpits in its class”, as well as something the brand calls the “Innovision Cockpit”, a fresh type of infotainment system.
The profile sketch suggests that the new Touareg will feature Arteon-like styling up front, and a character line that rises over the rear wheelarch.
