Yes, it’s time for another drag race from the folks over at CarWow in the United Kingdom. This time, the new Audi RS6 Avant takes on a trio of fellow all-wheel-drive Germans.
As a reminder, Ingolstadt’s latest all-paw super-estate employs a (mild-hybrid) twin-turbo 4,0-litre V8 petrol engine churning out 441 kW.
And its challengers? Well, the BMW M5 Competition’s 4,4-litre V8 offers 460 kW, while the Mercedes-AMG E63 S (here in estate form) uses a 4,0-litre V8 generating 450 kW. The Porsche Panamera Turbo S e-Hybrid Sport Turismo, meanwhile, has a 4,0-litre V8 with added electric oomph for a total system output of 500 kW (but it weighs quite a bit more than its rivals).
