Yes, it’s another interesting drag race from the folks over at CarWow in the United Kingdom. This time, five hot hatches do battle in a straight line.
Yes, the new Mercedes-AMG A35 is here to take on the BMW M140i (the only rear-wheel-drive contender), the Volkswagen Golf R, the Audi S3 Sportback and the Ford Focus RS (the only manual model on the day).
For the record, the A35 4Matic is powered by a turbocharged 2,0-litre four-cylinder petrol engine churning out 225 kW and 400 N.m. The result is a sprint from zero to 100 km/h in a claimed 4,7 seconds and a top speed of 250 km/h.
