The 2015 Formula One season is building to a crescendo with the title fight between Mercedes team-mates, Lewis Hamilton and Nico Rosberg, getting ever more tense. While this season is just around the halfway mark F1’s governing body, the FIA, has already released a provisional calendar for 2016.
Australia, the traditional season-opener, will kick off a 21-round season on April 3, slightly later than usual. The final round, Abu Dhabi, will take place on November 27. In between the F1 circus will return to Germany, which was absent from the 2014 calendar, and a first visit to Baku, Azerbaijan. The latter will take place on a Hermann Tilke designed street circuit in the seaside town.
