The free Gran Turismo 1.19 update has added a Porsche 918 Spyder, Nissan Skyline Super Silhouette and a Maserati A6GCS/53 to the game which has been on sale for the past four months.
Tickling the fancy of new, classic, and vintage motorsport, Gran Turismo 7 has added three free cars for users to experience. Fortunately, any personal safety concerns or damage shouldn’t be an issue since it will all be virtual. The Gran Turismo 7 simulator allows users on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 to test the limits of each of these vastly different machines without any real-world concerns.
This means players get to encounter the flagship Stuttgart sports car from 2013 in all of its 4,6-litre V8 hybrid glory. The combined output of 652 kW and 1 280 N.m while revving up to a maximum of 9 150 rpm makes it the most powerful option in the update but the purpose built Skyline Group 5 is equally as impressive.

It manages a whopping 425 kW from the 2,1-litre LZ20B four-cylinder turbo motor. Torque for the 1983 race car is 539 N.m which helped enable it 5 wins in the same year. Finally, the Maserati A6GCS/53 from 1954 embraces an era of the unknown for motorsport. The 2,0-litre inline-six motor was developed for Maserati’s Formula 2 car and featured high-tech alloy cylinder-head, twin camshafts and twin-spark ignition.
In addition to the new cars, Polyphony Digital developers have also added two new locations; Shikoku and Tomica Town. Both Japanese locations feature Curation in Scapes to enable players to experience a new take on the Japanese car culture.
