This collaboration signals Ford Performance Motorsports’ commitment to expanding its presence in global customer racing, with HRT’s proven track record enhancing the Mustang GT3’s competitive edge.
Having already showcased its prowess on race circuits across Europe and North America, the Mustang GT3 will now engage in numerous high-profile events, including the ADAC RAVENOL 24 hours Nürburgring. This endurance race is set to challenge both driver and machine, adding to the car’s impressive performance history that includes podium finishes at renowned events such as the 24 Hours of Le Mans and IMSA series in the U.S.
Mark Rushbrook, global director of Ford Performance Motorsports, expressed enthusiasm about this collaboration, noting, “Having a team like HRT join the Ford Performance global family is a significant moment for us.
