At the Pretoria launch of the latest Actyon Sports, SsangYong draped covers over the launch vehicles parked on the grass to build expectation. In the past this would have suggested an unappealingly styled vehicle hidden underneath. But thankfully that’s not the case anymore.
During the Geneva Motor Show earlier this year, SsangYong showed its SUT-1 concept. Now, at this year’s Frankfurt Motor Show, SsangYong unveiled the production version of the SUT-1.
So you thought that was the last of the bizarre-looking SsangYong Actyon? Recently removed from South African pricelists, the Korean automaker is however working on an all-new version seemingly inspired by the US-market Honda Ridgeline double-cab pick-up.
