During the Paris Motor Show in 2010, I was privileged enough the watch Lotus CEO, Dany Bahar, optimistically launching five new cars. These cars are scheduled to be become available over the coming years. More important is the fact that Lotus’ own engines will power some of these cars. The British company has released this video showing the current development of its new V8, an engine that will find its way into the upcoming Lotus Esprit. The engine should develop around 425 kW.
Not that the Elise really needed it, but Lotus put its breadwinner on a weight-loss programme just before the Geneva show, and the result is this – the Elise Club Racer.
