Lydenburg, Saturday – Reigning South African champions Evan Hutchison and Achim Bergmann scored their first win of the season when they won the Special Vehicle category on the Toyota Dealer 400, which ended here yesterday.
Reigning champions Evan Hutchison and Achim Bergmann (Motorite Racing BAT Spec 3) were on top form in the penultimate round of the Absa Off Road Car Championship, winning the Toyota Dealer 400 in Mpumalanga on Saturday by a convincing 4 min and 2 sec. It was the pair’s second successive triumph in the event and their first win this year.
The Toyota Dealer 400 in Lydenburg on October 10 and 11 the penultimate round of the Absa Off Road Championship, will be no place for the faint of heart in the Special Vehicle category.
The knives will be out in the Special Vehicle category on the Limpopo 400, round six of the Absa Off Road Championship, in Limpopo on September 12 and 13.
The 2008 Bridgestone South African Production Car championship wars will visit the Zwartkops Raceway near Pretoria for the second time next Saturday (September 6).
