No sooner had we learned that Mercedes-Benz had given its CLS Shooting Brake the production go-ahead when an official trailer showing an AMG-fettled model cropped up on-line. The CLS63 AMG Shooting Brake will feature the firm’s 5,5-litre twin-turbo V8 packing 386 kW and 700 N.m of torque.
The CAR team stopped off in Durban to measure the power output at the wheels of five of our Shootout cars on the same day.
