When Mercedes-Benz introduced its M-Class in the late Nineties, the Stuttgart-based firm established a premium class of SUVs. The latest ML, codenamed W116, is now available in South Africa.
Hot on the heels (or should that be wheels) of the BMW 1 Series leak and subsequent official reveal comes this, first images and information on Mercedes’ eagerly-anticipated new M-Class SUV. Set to debut at the Frankfurt Motor Show later this year, the ML is likely to reach South Africa in the second quarter of 2012.
The third-generation M-Class makes its debut only at the Frankfurt Motor Show in September but, to whet the appetites of SUV afficionados, Mercedes-Benz has released this short video that shows a white M strutting its stuff on tar and gravel.
