The TOTAL Swartland Rally to be held the weekend of 21/22 September in the Western Cape has drawn a healthy 52 entries from national and regional rally competitors. The event is the 7th round of the Sasol SA National Rally Championship and with the national driver’s and navigator’s championship riding on a knife’s end there is a lot of interest in the event.
The penultimate round of the Sasol SA Rally Championship takes place in the Western Cape this weekend with the staging of the first Total Swartland Rally. Just 12 points separate the top four contenders for the overall championship after the first six rounds, so the title chase is poised on a knife edge.
The TOTAL Swartland Rally to be run for the first time in the Western Cape on 21/22 September, will set the stage for an exciting finish to the 2007 Sasol SA National Rally Championship. The event, that is being run in the place of the Cape Subaru Rally, is the 7th round of the national championship
