Prospeed Bulgaria’s special project Audi Quattro S1 made an appearance at the Verzegnis Hillclimb in Italy a few weeks ago. The replica Quattro S1, driven by racer Niki Zlatkov, is a homage to the mighty Group B Audis of the ’80s and features a similarly shortened wheelbase and 770 hp (574 kW) turbocharged five-cylinder engine. Fantastic looks aside, we are also very grateful that Prospeed took the trouble to replicate the now-legendary turbo flutter associated with these cars in full flight.
