This dashcam footage shows a Jeep Cherokee speeding in damp conditions, aquaplaning through an intersection and taking out a traffic light pole.
The clip (filmed in Canada, if the road signs are anything to go by) shows the road open from two lanes to three. As the traffic lights ahead turn amber, the white Cherokee comes speeding past.
But the SUV seemingly hits a patch of standing water and aquaplanes across the intersection, narrowly missing another stationary vehicle before slamming into a traffic light pole. Here’s hoping the driver and any other occupants escaped injury.
