If you needed to start your week off with a laugh, we have got just the thing for you. A passenger in a fully loaded BMW M4 Convertible accidentally backflipped out of the rear of the topless model after the driver opened the taps a little bit too enthusiastically and basic physics prevailed.
It seems as though the hard-done occupant was able to get up and walk his low speed injuries off but we are sure his ego took a bruise as not only was there a crowd of people spectating but this specific video has gone viral across the internet. Watch the video on Facebook here.
It all starts off with the black M4 moving out of the parking area of the British Motor Museum before it comes to a stop at a speed bump. The driver is accompanied with a passenger up front while the two passengers at the rear opt to rather sit atop the headrest of the second row of seats which seamlessly becomes the boot lid.
The driver passes the traffic calming section and proceeds to accelerate a bit too enthusiastically to hear the in-line six come to life. This resulted in the BMW M4 Convertible passengers at the rear scrambling to grip onto something to stay put. Fortunately, one of the occupants at the rear gripped the front headrest and had sufficient leverage in keeping his body mounted to the gravitational pull of the BMW as it began picking up momentum.
In a flurry of panic, the other occupant stretches his arms in a helpless attempt to hold onto something but it is too late. Before he knows it, his bum has slid onto the smooth boot section of the BMW and his legs have swapped ends with his head. The backflip is basic physics in practice but we are sure a friendship might have been lost on this day.
There is an important lesson here: sit in a designated seat and be sure to wear your seatbelt.
