This dashcam footage from Australia shows the driver of a first-generation (D22) Nissan Navara brake-check a large truck … before instantly regretting it.
The clip was filmed on the Warrego Highway in Queensland.
It shows a truck in the right lane overtaking a slower vehicle. A speeding Navara then undertakes the truck, before the latter moves back to the left lane.
The bakkie driver – seemingly upset his apparent foe was in the outside lane in the first place – then swerves back in front of the truck and slams on the brakes. The result? A collision the truck driver most likely couldn’t avoid.
