Autonomous cars are becoming more and more of a reality with each passing month. And while some models aim to get you to and from work, Audi’s RS7 can take you around a racetrack.
Last weekend a self-driving Audi RS7 completed a lap of the famous Hockenheimring race circuit in Germany. Using GPS signals transmitted to the vehicle via WiFi and high-frequency radio as well as 3D cameras in the car it managed to complete a lap in roughly two minutes.
