The Nissan GT Academy is a programme aimed at giving keen (and skilled) console gamers the opportunity to harness said skills in order to potentially compete in the real world, on real race tracks, and in real cars. This, of course, means there is no longer a reset button and crash damage is permanently activated.
While there have undoubtedly been some success stories originating from the Academy, things don’t always go according to plan once things get, um, real.
