Bugatti has released this video of Chinese driver (and new Bugatti owner) Anthony LiuĀ setting a new world-record top speed of 408,84 km/h in the limited-edition Veyron Grand Sport Vitesse World Record Car Edition. The record attempt took place at Volkswagen Group’s Ehra-Lessien test track with its 9 km-long straight.
The Grand Sport Vitesse WRC is one of only eight cars built and is powered by a quad-turbo W16 7,9-litre engine producing 882 kW and 1 500 N.m of torque. Claimed 0-100 km/h is 2,6 seconds
