Well, this is a strange one. The folks over at CarWow have lined up the BMW M2 CS for a drag race … against the Bentley Flying Spur W12. Sure, they’re very different vehicles but it’s still an interesting match-up.
As a reminder, the M2 CS employs a turbocharged 3,0-litre inline six-cylinder petrol engine delivering 331 kW to the rear axle via a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission. That’s enough, says BMW, for a sprint from zero to 100 km/h in 4,0 seconds.
And the Flying Spur? Well, the big sedan uses Bentley’s twin-turbo 6,0-litre W12, which offers 467 kW to all four corners via an eight-speed dual-clutch gearbox. The Flying Spur will hit three figures from standstill in a 3,7 seconds, says the British firm. Still, it's far heavier than BMW's little coupé.
