Time for another interesting drag race from the folks over at CarWow. This time, it’s an all-Audi affair, with the RS Q8 taking on the RS4 Avant and the RS Q3.
As many of you will have already worked out, this battle thus involves the Ingolstadt-based firm’s turbocharged V8, V6 and five-cylinder engines. Of course, there are weight differences between the three models so it's not quite the foregone conclusion the power outputs might suggest.
As a reminder, the RS Q8 employs a twin-turbo 4,0-litre V8 delivering 441 kW and 800 N.m, while the RS4’s twin-turbo 2,9-litre V6 offers 331 kW and 600 N.m. The RS Q3 Sportback, meanwhile, makes 294 kW and 480 N.m from its turbocharged 2,5-litre five-pot.
