Another week, another drag race from CarWow over in the United Kingdom. This time, the Audi RS4 Avant takes on the BMW M850i coupé.
Ingolstadt’s RS4-badged wagon, of course, makes 331 kW and 600 N.m from its turbocharged 2,9-litre V6, sent to all four corners via an eight-speed automatic transmission. The two-door M850i, on the other hands, boasts a turbocharged 4,4-litre V8 directing 390 kW and 750 N.m to all wheels (also through an automatic gearbox with eight forward cogs).
Thing is, the BMW is a fair bit heavier than the Audi. Watch the video above to see the two vehicles take part in a drag race, a race from a rolling start and a braking test…
