Drag race! Audi RS5 Sportback vs. Porsche 911 Carrera S

Yes, it’s time for another drag race – on this occasion featuring a pair of German performance vehicles – courtesy of the folks over at CarWow in the United Kingdom.

So, to the contenders. First, we have the Audi RS5 Sportback, which employs a front-mounted, twin-turbo 2,9-litre V6 worth 331 kW and 600 N.m. Drive is directed to all four wheels via an eight-speed automatic transmission.

Porsche’s 911 Carrera S, meanwhile, makes use of a rear-mounted twin-turbo 3,0-litre flat-six, which channels its 331 kW (yes, precisely the same peak power output as the RS5) and 530 N.m to the rear axle through an eight-speed dual-clutch gearbox.
