Yes, it’s another intriguing drag race from the folks over at CarWow in the United Kingdom. This time, they’ve lined up two closely related vehicles: the BMW Z4 M40i and the Toyota GR Supra.
Of course, these two sportscars were co-developed by BMW and Toyota, and share the German brand’s B58 3,0-litre straight-six engine, which directs 250 kW and 500 N.m to the rear axle via an eight-speed automatic transmission.
It’s worth noting the Z4 roadster is a little bit heavier than the Supra coupé (which is set to launch in South Africa towards the middle of July), although in UK-spec the difference is a mere 40 kg.
