The folks over at Lovecars have lined up the Lamborghini Huracán Performante Spyder for a drag race with the McLaren P1.

As a reminder, the Huracán Performante Spyder draws its urge from a naturally aspirated 5,2-litre V10 engine, delivering 470 kW to all four corners.

The rear-driven P1, meanwhile, uses a twin-turbo 3,8-litre V8 and an electric motor for a combined power output of 674 kW.

Seem like a bit of a mismatch? Well, the all-paw Lamborghini may be down on power but it should at least have an advantage off the line on what Lovecars says is a poor surface.
