Yes, it’s another interesting drag race from the folks over at CarWow in the United Kingdom. This time the Mercedes-AMG G63 takes on the BMW M850i coupé in a battle of the V8s.
For the record, the G63 generates 430 kW and 850 N.m from its twin-turbo 4,0-litre V8, directed to all four corners via a nine-speed automatic transmission.
The M850i, meanwhile, employs a twin-turbo 4,4-litre V8 offering 390 kW and 750 N.m to both axles through an eight-speed auto. Of course, there’s a bit of a weight difference here, with the BMW obviously the lighter of the two.
