In an effort to convince ESPN that Detroit would be an ideal city to host the 2014 Summer X Games, Ford has released this footage of rallycross driver Andreas Eriksson hitting the streets of the Motor City in his OlsbersMSE Fiesta ST.
The video shows Eriksson powering through some of Detroit’s landmark sites, including Campus Martius Park, Belle Isle and Michigan Central Station.
The Fiesta ST rallycross features a turbocharged 2,0-litre four-cylinder engine that develops 404 kW and is good for a 0-100 km/h sprint time of just two seconds. Power is dispatched to all four wheels via an OlsbergsMSE transmission.
