Racer Graham Ellis suffered fractures to his face, neck and back when his Plymouth Superbird got airborne and left the drag strip in a big way.
While he is expected to make a full recovery, we reckon he deserves an award for still managing a fairly impressive quartermile time despite the huge crash.
