World records on water are not new, but when they’re conducted with a car that’s a whole other story.
A few days ago Gudbjørn Grimsson set a world record, official speed (87 km/h) on a 300 metre long river in a extreme Formula Offroad event in Iceland.
Of course 1 200 kW from his buggy’s force-fed V8 engine doesn’t hurt to help skim across the surface like a stone.
