This semi-articulated truck, packing a jet engine from a Lockheed F104 Starfighter, featured at the 2013 Night Under Fire drag racing event at the Summit Motorsports Park in Ohio.

After incinerating the backstop behind it, the jet truck then blasts along the drag strip at 338 km/h.

Given that footballers get booked for taking off their shirts because it upsets their sponsors, you can only imagine how the firms advertising on the backstop must’ve felt when they watched their marketing budget literally go up in smoke.
