Witness this rather alarming amateur footage of the Nissan Juke R Concept participating in a promotional event ahead of this year’s Dunlop 24 Hours of Dubai.
The video shows the recently developed Juke R Concept – which houses much of the powertrain of the company’s mighty GT-R supercar slayer – lined up against a Lamborghini Gallardo LP560-4, Ferrari 458 Italia and Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG, on what looks like a particularly tight and dusty mock-up race course.
To be fair, Nissan flags can be seen flying around much of the course and we only know that the driver of the Juke R is GT Acadamy winner, Lucas Ordonez, with no indication of who was driving the other cars. On the slippery course, both the Nissan and Lamborghini would have enjoyed the benefits of all-wheel drive. The fact remains though that the Juke R looks and sounds mighty as it blasts off the line and leaves its arguably more illustrious competitors soaking up some dust.
Look out for a driving impression of the Nissan Juke R Concept in the March issue of CAR magazine.
