If ever there is a car manufacturer shrouded in mystery and heritage with a slightly sad history, for what became of its existence, it would have to be Bugatti. Ettore Bugatti considered himself both an artist and a constructor as he went about building some of the most beautiful and sought after cars the world has ever seen.
The French marque is one of the most successful in racing history taking titles in Grands Prix all over Europe. The natural successor to the company after the death of Ettore in 1947 was his son, Jean, who went on to design one of the most iconic cars in our history the Type 57S Atlantic. The company struggled financially under the leadership of Jean and was soon bought in the 1960’s for its aeroplane parts business.
Today the company is owned by the Volkswagen Group which has managed to develop and release a production version vehicle that has gone on to become the fastest production vehicle in the world, the EB16 Veyron.
In concept phase however, is a vehicle which, in my opinion, pays true homage to the marques design history, the Galibier. The following video is a direct proportion for a motoring enthusiasts porn video. Demonstrating the stunning concept vehicle whilst detailing the design aspects taken from Bugatti’s of the past. The music alone is enough to send shivers up your spine. Watch it, over and over again, and enjoy the nostalgic moment…
