One of the reasons the annual Goodwood Festival of Speed is fast becoming these place to visit for any petrolhead worth his/her salt is the vast array of beautiful automotive machinery on display each year. From Group B rally to Formula One cars, from the very latest super- and hypercars to oldest and most valuable classics each has a place on the lawns of Lord March’s beautiful estate.
But while most drivers try to set a reasonable time up the annual hillclimb event this year saw New Zealander “Mad” Mike Whiddett in his 560 kW Red Bull Mazda RX-7 leave his rather unique mark on the event.
