Here's why illegal U-turns are illegal.
Dashcam footage captured in Canada shows a vehicle performing an illegal U-turn, resulting in another car rolling over onto its roof.
The incident took place on a highway north of Toronto.
The video, captured by truck driver Tim Gordon’s dashcam, shows a vehicle in the right lane suddenly pull a U-turn, cutting off a sedan that was moving at more than 100 km/h.
The silver sedan clips the U-turning vehicle and ends up crashing into the embankment, briefly tipping over onto its roof before coming to a rest on its wheels.
The driver reportedly sustained minor injuries in the crash.
