This dashcam footage from Australia shows the driver of what appears to be a Volkswagen Golf R lose control of the vehicle and land up in a ditch.
The clip shows the white hot hatch heading towards a traffic circle in damp conditions. The occupants of the camera-equipped vehicle following the Golf are talking to its driver over the phone.
Soon after the Golf R driver declares his vehicle’s tyres “aren’t the best”, he loses control of the car, ramps the pavement, knocks over a pole and lands up in a ditch. The camera car also hits the kerb but its driver manages to put the vehicle back on the road.
