The folks over at MotorTrend in the United States have published their ninth instalment of the so-called “World’s Greatest Drag Race”.
Held at Vandenberg Air Force Base, the race features 12 contenders blasting down a 4,5 km runway in California, first across a quarter-mile and then across a half-mile.
Of course, it’s by no means an evenly matched group of vehicles, with the list comprising the McLaren Senna, Mercedes-AMG GT63 S, Porsche 911 Carrera S, Toyota GR Supra, Aston Martin DBS Superleggera, Lamborghini Urus, BMW M2 Competition, Ford Mustang Shelby GT350, Jaguar XE SV Project 8, BMW M850i, Bentley Continental GT V8 and Dodge Challenger Hellcat Red Eye Widebody.
